Single Guest Beds

Yes, one adult can use a single guest bed comfortably. Our single guest beds measure 3ft by 6ft3", so there's plenty of space for an adult, teenager or child to get comfortable.

Two adults may be able to squeeze into a single bed, but we wouldn't advise it - you wouldn't have much space! If you often have more than one guest staying with you, our small double guest beds are a much better choice. Alternatively, look for a single trundle guest bed with a pull-out single mattress underneath.

We have many types of single guest beds to choose from, including:

• Single folding guest beds - a popular choice if you don't often have guests staying over, a folding guest bed can conveniently be stored away when not in use.
• Single trundle guest beds - with a pull-out mattress beneath the single bed frame, a single trundle bed can double the sleep space you have for guests when needed without taking up all your floor space.
• Single day beds - one of the chicest options for a guest bed is a day bed. Their bed-sofa hybrid design makes them a great addition to multi-purpose guest rooms.
• Single guest beds with storage - space is often limited in guest rooms, so maximise every inch of yours with a single guest bed with built-in storage. Handy drawers are the perfect place to store spare bedding, towels or even for your guests to store luggage while they're with you.

As guest rooms tend to be one of the smallest bedrooms in your home, the best type of guest beds tend to be smaller sizes, such as single beds and small doubles. However, the best type of guest bed for you will depend on who your guests are and how frequently they stay over.

For example, if you have one guest who only stops over at Christmas, you may be better with a folding single guest bed, which can be stowed away when not used. Alternatively, you may have the grandchildren stay with you every other weekend, so that a bunk bed may be a better choice. Weigh up your options before buying, but a single guest bed usually works well.
