Happy Beds - Delivery & Returns

Delivery policy

For orders with payment cleared before 11am on a working day (Monday - Friday except for Bank Holidays), we will make all possible efforts to dispatch on the same day. For orders with payment cleared on and after 11am on a working day, we will make all efforts to dispatch the following working day.

The delivery to most UK mainland destinations is free of charge. Please see below for the chargeable postcodes.

Depending of the location and size of your item, a selected courier company will be assigned to deliver the order. In order to facilitate the delivery, please ensure that we have your correct phone number as it may be required by the carriers.

The estimated delivery times are shown on the product pages. We or the courier company will contact you prior to delivery to arrange the most convenient delivery date for you. In most cases, this date will be within the estimated delivery dates. Deliveries to the chargeable postcodes below may take up to 14 working days, with Republic of Ireland deliveries possible to take up to 30 working days.

In rare circumstances beyond our control the delivery may take slightly longer than the time frames above. In this case, we will inform you immediately and arrange with you the quickest delivery possible.


Chargeable postcodes

Unfortunately we will have to charge you an extra fee for the following post codes due to their geographical location. This fee is paid at checkout. We have done our best to get around this but we cannot find a service that will deliver at normal rates.

Please note:

  • Our standard, one-man, delivery service is to the ground floor of the property, to the first accessible door.
  • Saturday delivery is available for certain destinations at £30 extra charge.
  • With large items, the driver may request for assistance.
  • Two-man service is not available on a next-day delivery service.
  • Two-man service offers delivery to the room of your choice but it needs to be pre-arranged. Please warn us of any special delivery requirements as soon as you place your order.
  • On a two-man service, if a lift is not available, the driver will only deliver up to the third floor.
  • Please contact us if you are unsure of the postage cost before placing an order.

Returns policy

We hope that you will be pleased with the goods that you have purchased from Happy Beds.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any other reason (excluding manufacturing faults or not as described products) and report this, in writing, within 14 days from the date of delivery, you will be given the option to return the product to us for a refund or exchange. You must ensure that the goods are in their original packaging, unused and undamaged. It is your responsibility to return the product to us and to cover any associated costs of return (please include your reference number and name on any returns). If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in their damage or deterioration, we are not responsible for the return request. This policy does not affect your legal rights. This policy excludes made to measure items (items made to the consumer’s specification) (see section 6 of our Terms & Conditions).

If you think that your product has a manufacturing fault and you inform us of that within 30 days from the delivery date, if the product is covered by our Manufacturer's Guarantee, you will have the option to receive a refund for the price of the faulty product. Alternatively, we can send you replacement part(s) or a replacement product (at our sole discretion).

If you have changed your mind after we have dispatched your order, please note that Postage & Packaging charges are not refundable. The cost of returning the item will also be at the buyer's own expense. This applies to non-faulty products. For products claimed to be faulty, please see our Manufacturer's Guarantee.

If you require Happy Beds to arrange the collection of goods to be returned, we will take the payment for the collection first and then refund you for the price of the product(s) (these costs can all be agreed before deciding if you want to return your goods).

Check your product (including all parts) carefully upon delivery. If you find your product damaged or wrong item sent upon receipt, please do not accept the delivery, return the item with the same delivery service and sign as ‘damaged’ or ‘wrong item sent’ on the driver’s sheet. Please notify us within 24 hours.

If the damage has been identified after the delivery services have left, we are not responsible for any subsequent requests.

Please note:

  • Vacuum packed items can only be returned if they remain vacuum packed.
  • Please keep the original packaging on when returning any item.
  • If we arrange the collection, the item(s) should be ready to be collected on the ground floor, as the delivery services usually refuse to collect from any other floor.
