When it says self assembly, how many packages are there and what is the largest size please? I need to manoeuvre upstairs and round a tight corner to get into bedroom
Asked By: Justine Thomas on May 1 2018 2:03 PM
The Cooper Grey Fabric Guest Bed comes in 4 boxes, the largest of which is 200.5cm x 50cm x 16.5cm.

Is this a standard 3ft size bed? The mattress options are ‘compact’ kids mattresses. I would like to use it in a teenagers room
Asked By: Louise on Mar 28 2018 1:58 PM
The Cooper Grey Fabric Guest Bed fits two 3ft UK standard size single mattresses. We recommend using compact mattresses, not as they are designed for kids, but because they are 15cm deep so they will fit in the trundle and be able to close.

Can I choose any mattress for the top layer or only from the list on a right hand side? We want this bed as everyday one for my daughter and need it to be medium/firm pocket sprung 1000 or higher. Or we only can have 15 cm deep for top one too? thanks
Asked By: Natasha on Jan 30 2018 10:55 PM
We recommend the 15cm mattress for the underbed drawer so that it can function properly but the main bed can have a deeper mattress if desired. The thicker the mattress, however, the less of an "arm" on the couch will be available.

Please could you tell me if the trundle drawer (guest bed) detaches from main frame - say if you wanted to position it away from the main frame when guests stay?
Asked By: Andrea on Jan 3 2018 4:19 PM
The trundle drawer of the Cooper does detach fully and is moved around on wheels.

How many does this sleep? -does it take two singe mattresses or just the one?
Asked By: Christine on Oct 15 2017 7:55 PM
The Cooper Grey Fabric Guest Bed, like other Guest Beds can take 1 or 2 sleepers depending on whether you decide to put a mattress in the trundle under the bed. You could alternatively, use the trundle only for storage, it depends entirely on your needs.
