How are mattresses delivered?
Our mattress delivery service comes with a few different options, so you can select the one that best suits your needs. If you're happy to move your mattress to your bedroom yourself, we offer delivery to the ground floor. If you'd like your mattress delivered directly to your bedroom, you can select two-person delivery to the room of your choice. Some of our mattresses come automatically with free 2 man specific weekday deliveries to most of the UK - in this case, this will be the only delivery option you will see!
Where can I get a next day mattress delivery?
We offer a next day delivery service on some of our products at Happy Beds. Depending on the item you're buying and the location, Express Shipping may be available.
Our Express Shipping for mattresses is a next working day service, which means if the order is placed before 11am, it will be with you the next working day. Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
You can see whether your item is eligible for next day delivery with our handy Delivery Checker tool, which you'll find on the first page of the checkout process. Here, you can input your postcode and we'll show you all the delivery options available to you.
Do you offer next day or same day mattress pick up?
If you live nearby, you're absolutely welcome to pick up your mattress in person from our warehouse in Batley, West Yorkshire. However, we require at least 48 hours notice if you'd like to collect your mattress.
To place a mattress order for collection, simply place an order using the free standard delivery option on the website. On this page, you'll see an ‘additional information' box, where you can add a note that you'd like to collect. As soon as you have placed your order, you will need to send us an email with your order number so that we can make sure it will not ship! You can then call us on 0333 444 0180 to arrange a suitable slot to collect from the warehouse.
What mattress delivery services are available?
We have a range of different delivery options available depending on how much you spend and the kind of delivery you'd like.
If you're not in a rush for your new mattress, we have free delivery options, while you can also pay more for Express deliveries or specific day deliveries to the room of your choice. Some of our mattresses come with free express 2 man service as standard, so make sure to check the details on the product page!

What does mattress delivery cost?
The cost of getting your mattress delivered varies depending on the service you choose.
We offer a standard free mattress delivery option. With this option, you'll usually be able to select a delivery date from the available options at the checkout. If you don't choose a date, your courier will contact you to let you know when your mattress will arrive.
We also offer a specific day delivery Monday-Friday, which costs £15 to the ground floor and £25 to the room of your choice. Some of our mattresses will offer this option as a 2-man specific day weekday for free, though please note that Saturday will still be charged!
One-person ground floor delivery on a Saturday costs £40, while a Saturday or Sunday delivery to the room of your choice is £45.
Where do you deliver mattresses to?
We want everyone to experience the joy of a Happy Beds mattress; however, unfortunately, certain restrictions mean we can't deliver to some postcodes, or delivery will come with an extra charge.
We can deliver to Northern Ireland: BT & Republic of Ireland: Eire postcodes with an extra charge.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to:
- Scotland: KW15-KW17, PH45-PH50, PA40-PA78, IV63
- Isle of Arran & Great Cumbrae: KA27 and KA28
- Cornwall, Truro: TR21 to TR25
- Shetland Islands: ZE
- Jersey: JE
- Guernsey: GY
- Western Isles: HS
- Isle of Man: IM
If your postcode hasn't been mentioned here, you can simply order with our standard delivery options.
Do you offer old mattress removal?
There's always one stress that comes with ordering a new mattress - how do you get rid of the old one? Well, we have good news. We can help you out with that.
Dependent on postcode, we offer a mattress recycling service, so you can rest assured your old furniture is disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
Our mattress removal service is like-for-like, which means you'll have to be buying a new mattress for us to dispose of your old one. The charge for old mattress disposal is £50.
Please bear in mind that we will not be able to collect soiled mattresses. If you have any questions about mattress removal, just get in touch with our customer service team.
