The main difference between reflex foam and memory foam is the size of the holes in the material. Where memory foam mattresses have tiny holes that mould to a body, reflex foam has larger holes. However, both foam types effectively offer support and bounce back once pressure is relieved.

If you care for them properly, a reflex foam mattress could last up to ten years. Proper care involves turning the mattress every three to six months - this gives the reflex foam cells time to decompress entirely to avoid them becoming permanently shaped to where you sleep.
