Yes, there are plenty of midsleepers with storage options such as:

There isn't a concrete height that a mid sleeper should be, but on average, they are between 115cm and 130cm high. For a more precise measurement, double-check the dimensions of the bed you're interested in to find out the actual height before purchasing.

We recommend that only children over 6 use a mid-sleeper bed. This is because they must be old enough to independently climb in and out of the bed via the ladder. If they're under this age, they might be unable to safely enter and exit the bed!

There's no reason an adult can't use a mid sleeper bed, but it's important to remember that they are designed for children and teenagers. No, a mid sleeper with storage does not require a special mattress in general. The only requirement will be to choose a mattress no higher than 16cm in height to allow the safety railings to operate as designed.
