Bed Delivery Guide

Whether you've already found a new bed you adore, or you're thinking about placing an order, you need to consider delivery. And, if you have any questions about the delivery of your new bed, we've got you covered! Read on for everything you need to know about getting a new bed delivered.

What happens when my bed arrives?

What happens when your bed arrives depends on which delivery service you use; our standard service means our courier will deliver to your hallway, whereas our premium service means they will deliver it to a room of your choice. Either way, it's important to make sure someone is home to receive the delivery and check it over for any problems!

Will my bed be delivered to the room of my choice?

If you’ve selected our premium delivery service, then our courier will deliver your items to a room of your choice. The only limitations here are that they can ascend a maximum of 2 flights of stairs, and it's important to ensure there's enough space for them to move safely and clearly! If there's any restriction to their access, then they might not be able to deliver to your desired room.

Will the delivery driver contact me on the day?

The delivery driver might try to contact you on the day of delivery when they're close, giving you time to prepare for the arrival of a bed or mattress. Of course, as we aren't responsible for the communications our couriers give, we can't guarantee this, as it depends on the courier and how busy the drivers are. We'd recommend keeping your phone handy just in case they call or text!

What should I check when my bed arrives?

Once your bed arrives, it's important to do a quick check before accepting delivery. It's crucial that you do this before the courier leaves, as if anything is wrong, you'll need to reject the delivery. The important things to check over are:

  • The packaging: Check to see if there is any major damage to the packaging. We're not talking about small dents (which can happen during delivery), but rather big things that make it clear the bed frame would be damaged.
  • The boxes: Double-check the number of boxes that have been delivered to you. If your bed frame uses multiple boxes, then you'll usually find it printed somewhere on the box itself, i.e 1/4.

If any issues arise, we recommend rejecting the delivery and contacting our customer service team as soon as possible.

What if my bed arrives damaged?

If you notice any damage to the bed frame during assembly, please let us know as soon as possible. Please make sure to take photos of any damaged items and note which part is damaged (this will be in the instructions!). This will help our customer service to resolve your issue as quickly as possible!

What if parts are missing from my bed delivery?

If you notice any parts are missing when you're trying to assemble your new bed frame, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. It's important we know exactly which parts are missing so we can send out replacements.
